Villemaurine Castle
In 2005, Justin Onclin, who also owns Château Branas Grand Poujeaux, took the reins at Château Villemaurine. This 12-hectare estate, including 7 hectares in a single block, is situated on the limestone plateau on the northern edge of Saint-Émilion.

Neighboring the most prestigious estates of the Libourne region (Trotte Vieille, Pavie Macquin, etc.), Château Villemaurine is actively working to build its reputation. Until 2012, Stéphane Derenoncourt served as the estate’s consulting oenologist. He was subsequently replaced by Hubert de Broüard’s team.

Château Villemaurine produces three wines: Château Villemaurine, Les Angelots de Villemaurine, and Clos Larcis, all three under the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation.
