“A romantic tower nestled among the vineyards gives the estate its name. Once again, this estate offers a fine wine that is ‘classic yet not austere,’ as one taster put it. Expect a very pleasant and well-balanced Saint-Estèphe with a fruity (redcurrant, blackcurrant, blackberry) and smoky bouquet, and a dense, balanced palate built on well-integrated tannins. ” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins). A generous red with a very indulgent finish!

About the wine:
A silky wine with a lovely velvety texture and fine tannins.
About the estate:
The medieval tower is no longer standing, but the Termes vineyard, located at the entrance to the village of Saint-Corbian, has survived and still houses the 16-hectare vineyard acquired by the Anney family.

Selected Winery (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the wineries listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)
About the estate:
This magnificent Gallo-Roman tower gave its name to this estate in Saint-Estèphe, which owes its reputation to the Anney family. Christophe, who has been at the helm since 1979, has worked tirelessly to develop and modernize the estate. In recent years, the wines produced here have consistently been delightful, maintaining a style that is always very approachable and elegant.
