Château La Rame
Château La Rame has been owned by the Armand family for eight generations and has been managed by Angélique and Grégoire Armand since 2009. Its vineyards face due south, situated on clay-limestone slopes and beds of fossilized oyster shells from the Tertiary period. The average age of the vines is 45 years. Château La Rame primarily produces sweet white wines under the Sainte-Croix du Mont appellation, as well as a dry white and two reds under the Bordeaux appellation. Château La Rame’s reputation has brought its wines to the finest tables in the world, including the Nobel Peace Prize banquet.
