Arnaud Combier

Based on the southern edge of Burgundy and at the gateway to Beaujolais, Arnaud Combier has built a distinguished career marked by a deep respect for nature, which is reflected in his wines—the vast majority of which are organic or even natural.

Arnaud Combier’s constant pursuit of this philosophy began during his time in Beaune, where he first trained, and continued in the heart of the vineyards at renowned estates in the Mâconnais and Chablis regions. In the late 1990s, he took over the family vineyards and spent several years crafting cuvées that are both precise and expressive. 

Drawing on his knowledge and experience, Arnaud Combier embarked on his greatest adventure: crafting wines according to his philosophy of respecting the fruit as much as possible. He thus creates wines that evoke emotion, are meant to be shared, and are as close to life as possible. 

Cultivated soils, dense plantings, the exclusion of chemicals, respect for the plant’s natural cycles, fermentation using indigenous yeasts and whole-cluster vinification, and finally, limited sulfur additions: Arnaud Combier leaves no stone unturned in his pursuit of sustainable practices to create complete wines with an honest and distinct terroir, whether in the vineyard or in the cellar.
