Mâcon-Bussières
Located in the heart of the Val Lamartinien, Bussières lies in the southern part of the Mâconnais region, at the foot of the Monsard on the hillsides bordering the Petite Grosne, facing the Roche de Vergisson. The Mâcon-Bussière vineyard covers 130 hectares on the northern and southern slopes of the commune. The wide variety of soils allows for the production of a broad range of wines. Mâcon-Bussière is produced here in both red and white varieties. The siliceous-granitic soils are ideal for Gamay, the grape variety used in red Mâcon-Bussière . The clay-limestone soils are primarily home to Chardonnay, used for white Mâcon-Bussière. Among the various soils, there are also marls dating from the Triassic period, as well as clay-siliceous soils
