Verget House
Maison Verget is a Burgundy wine merchant now owned by two enthusiasts. Nothing predisposed Maine and Jean-Marie Guffens-Heynen, originally from Flanders, to create an estate that would become, in just a few years and through hard work, one of the most renowned in the world for the quality of its wines, except perhaps a shared passion for vines and wine and a particularly creative artistic sensibility.

This talented duo is also involved in the destiny of Maison Verget, a small wine merchant in the heart of the Mâconnais region, which has enjoyed similar success thanks to its wines' elegance and finesse, and their ability to express the terroir better than any others. Maison Verget's raison d'être is to reveal the full character of its appellations by revealing their terroirs. This process has been successfully implemented for some time now in the Chablis and Côte d'Or appellations. But it is in the Mâconnais, historically a producer of generic wines, that this approach comes into its own. It is here that Maison Verget's " " produces the most different wines for each appellation. This approach allows you to discover all the aspects, all the nuances, in a word, all the subtleties of a single appellation. Through its original approach, Maison Verget has become a laboratory of terroirs and a creator of climats.
