Champagne Boulachin Chaput
Since 1799, the Boulachin Chaput family has been cultivating vineyards on the slopes of the Côte des Bars, passing down their expertise from generation to generation. Over the centuries, they have adapted to technical, economic, and climatic changes while remaining deeply connected to the terroir. Today, Geoffrey, an eighth-generation winemaker, carries on this legacy with passion and a commitment to excellence.
The Boulachin Chaput estate spans approximately 4 hectares spread across the communes of Arrentières, Colombé-le-Sec, Colombé-la-Fosse, and Voigny. The vineyard is composed of 66% Pinot Noir, 22% Chardonnay, and 12% Pinot Meunier. Committed to sustainable viticulture for over a decade, the family prioritizes environmentally friendly practices and is currently working toward obtaining the “Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne” and Level 3 “High Environmental Value” certifications.
Drawing on their experience and knowledge of the terroir, the Boulachin Chaput family crafts champagnes that express the full richness of the Côte des Bars. Each step is carried out with care and artisanal expertise. This meticulous approach aims to preserve the quality of the grapes and produce authentic champagnes that reflect their terroir and the passion of a family of winemakers.
