"A delightful Champagne—fresh, elegant, and refined"

“An unusual blend for a rosé from the Côte des Bar: Chardonnay dominates (85%), while Pinot Noir is used primarily to produce the barrel-aged red wine that gives this cuvée its beautiful orange-pink hue and contributes to its aromas. The complex nose reveals multiple nuances in subtle hints: the glass offers notes of orange blossom, citrus zest, exotic fruits, blueberry, and honey, followed by dried fruits, the cinnamon of speculoos, and caramel. Yellow fruit and orange juice come through in a full-bodied palate that is both lively and round, supported by a subtle dosage. “The jury is won over.” (Le Guide Hachette 2027).

About the estate:

For eight generations, the Boulachin and Chaput families have been growing grapes in the Bar-sur-Aube region. After a career in the military, Albert Boulachin, married to Sylvette Chaput, took over the family vineyards in 1986 and launched his own brand ten years later. In 2012, after a career in the wine trade, Geoffrey, one of their two sons, joined his father (who passed away in 2022) and took over the estate in 2019. Today, his estate spans 4.4 hectares.
