"Elegance, balance and roundness".

"A brut very representative of Bar-sur-Aubois, where pinot noir accounts for 4/5 of the grape varieties. In fact, this grape variety, complemented by Chardonnay, features prominently in the blend (80%). It leaves its mark on the wine's intense, deep-gold color and "pinot" nose. Quetsche, fig, apple and yellow fruits, refreshed by lemony notes and hints of iodine, make up a very seductive palette, which is confirmed on the palate. Harmonious and long, invigorated by a vivacity of citrus flavors, the palate also expresses Pinot Noir through its structure and vinosity". (Guide Hachette 2026).

About the wine:

A brut that's very representative of Bar-sur-Aubois, where pinot noir accounts for 4/5 of the grape varieties. Harmonious and long, invigorated by lively citrus flavors, the palate also expresses Pinot Noir in its structure and vinosity.

About the domain :

n the Bar-sur-Aube region, the Chaput family has been cultivating vines for over two centuries. Jacques Chaput reconstituted the vineyard and launched his brand in 1953. Since 2007, his son Jacky, joined by his grandson Jason, has run the family estate (nearly 14 ha). The Salamander is the brand's emblem.
