Champagne Dominique Massin - Brut Prestige Solera 1990
3*Coup de Coeur
Hachette
"An irresistibly seductive creation, beautifully complex, where the Solera of wines since 1990 is well integrated."
"This brut elicits this praise from a taster: 'Beautiful complexity and well-integrated reserve wines. " Made mainly from Chardonnay (75%, supplemented mainly by Pinot Noir), it includes wines from a solera system started in 1990, a perpetual reserve that is partially renewed each year with the addition of young wines that refresh the older wines, preserving their mature characteristics. The result is an intense, fresh and complex nose, blending white flowers and lemon with yellow fruits and toasted brioche, well prolonged by a lively attack on the palate, fleshy and persistent, where the complexity of the nose is found: a rare harmony." (Le Guide Hachette 2025).

About the estate:
The Massin family has owned the estate for five generations. Dominique and Rachel launched their champagne in 1975. In 2009, Tristan Massin, a qualified oenologist, joined his mother, and was joined by his sister Céline in 2013. Located in the Côte des Bar, the HVE-certified estate has a 12-hectare vineyard mainly planted with Pinot Noir. The cuvées are aged for at least three years in the cellar.
