Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated (2025 guide) 90/100
Rated estate (2025 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)
About the estate:
Developed by a cooperative group in Champagne, this brand celebrated its 60th anniversary this year and offers a range of well-structured champagnes thanks to multiple sources in more than sixty crus. The cuvées give pride of place to Chardonnay in all its diversity, and the arrival in 2020 of Joëlle Weiss as oenologist has made this a brand without weakness. The Mosaïque range offers beautiful expression, while the Alpha cuvée, with its delicacy, perfectly illustrates the house's DNA.

Wine rated (2025 guide) 90/100
About wine:
Fresh and slightly yeasty, the nose quickly develops aromas of dried pineapple, wild strawberry, and toasted notes of elegant classicism. Beneath lively bubbles, the palate offers beautiful fruity fullness and a mouthwatering saline sensation. The finish is sustained by the dosage and lovely bitter notes that give it character.
