Champagne Perrier-Jouët
The House of Perrier-Jouët was founded in 1811 following the marriage of Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët. Passionate about Champagne, they acquired vineyards that they passed on to their son. Their goal was to create a Champagne House in their own image, blending their interests in nature, art, and Champagne. In 1902, the House’s famous bottle, adorned with Japanese anemones, was created by Émile Gallé, symbolizing the House’s enduring connection to art and nature, particularly through the Art Nouveau movement.
Today, Perrier-Jouët has been owned by the Pernod-Ricard group since 2005. Since 2020, Séverine Frerson has been the eighth cellar master and the first woman to hold this key position.
