"A harmonious wine, perfectly balanced, to be enjoyed right now!"

"This Brut is once again a true classic! A brioche-like nose, open yet refined. On the palate, it’s fresh, with a noticeable but well-integrated dosage and toasty notes that reflect extended aging on the lees. Beautiful character of fresh red fruit; its structure reflects its 50% Pinot Noir content. The finish is lively and creamy. A true return to the forefront for this historic house. It has everything one expects from a non-vintage Brut aperitif: balanced, crisp, rich, and energetic, with a price that remains reasonable.” (La Revue du Vin de France 2024)

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated estate (2025 guide) 4*Stars (Producers of the very highest quality, the pride of French viticulture)

About the estate:

The patient work carried out by the house’s teams since Christopher Descours took over the brand in 2011 has brilliantly paid off. Its young cellar master, Émilien Boutillat, skillfully ensures stylistic continuity and spares no effort in bringing even greater consistency to a range that clearly displays its gastronomic ambitions. While the non-vintage Brut still needs to gain depth, the rest of the range has now reached a remarkable level of precision, particularly in the highly recommended Essentiel collection.

Rated estate (2025 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About the wine:

This Brut is once again a true classic! It has everything one expects from a non-vintage Brut aperitif: balanced, crisp, rich, and energetic, with a price that remains reasonable.

About the estate:

The Descours family, which has owned the estate since 2011, is constantly striving to restore it to its former glory. Cellar master Émilien Boutillat is dedicated to maintaining a fresh style while developing the depth and length of the wines. While the non-vintage brut remains very accessible and generously dosed, the other champagnes presented this year are well-balanced and elegant.

A fruity and lively brut champagne. On the nose, aromas of apples and pear tart carry through to a medium-bodied palate with medium-sized bubbles. Smooth, fruity, and refreshing. Enjoy now.
