Viu Manent
Viu Manent is a Chilean estate owned by the Viu family. In 1935, Miguel Viu-Garcia and his two sons Agustin and Miguel Viu-Manent founded Bodegas Viu in Santiago, Chile, a company that bottled and marketed wines under the "Vinos Viu" brand. Thirty years later, Miguel Viu Manent realized a long-held dream by acquiring a 150-hectare property in Colchagua.
Since 2000, the third generation has taken over the reins at Viu Manent, led by Jose Miguel Viu. Today, the estate covers 232 hectares of vineyards and produces around 3,000,000 bottles.
With a view to sustainable development, Viu Manent makes it a point of honor to respect the environment. The estate is therefore working to reduce its carbon footprint, recycle its solid waste, use electricity wisely, and more.
