Clos Poggiale white is made from 100% Vermentino grapes, grown at low yields with few bunches per vine, perfectly concentrating all the potential that the plants can accumulate. A white wine that reveals a nose of great aromatic finesse with citrus (citron) aromas and exudes notes of wild flowers from the maquis. A bite of Corsica!

Bettane & Desseauve

Winery rated 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About the estate:

Jean-François Renucci took over Clos Poggiale alongside Terra Vecchia, and immediately the wines regained the charm and finesse of the great vintages of the Skalli era. The terroir is suited to all three colors, and the desire to showcase the wines on the continent and as far afield as Asia will benefit Corsican viticulture as a whole.
