Clos Poggiale White is made entirely from the Vermentino grape variety, grown at low yields with few clusters per vine, perfectly concentrating all the potential the vines can offer. A white wine that reveals a nose of great aromatic finesse with citrus (citron) notes and exudes hints of wildflowers from the maquis. A little piece of Corsica you can almost taste!

Rated 2 stars (A solid, recommendable production, though slightly more conventional and uniform than the previous one)

About the estate:

Jean-François Renucci took over Clos Poggiale alongside Terra Vecchia, and immediately the wines regained the charm and finesse of the fine vintages from the Skalli era. The terroir is well-suited to all three wine types, and his commitment to promoting the wines across Europe and as far as Asia will benefit the entire Corsican wine industry.
