Round on the palate, well-balanced, with no real flaws. However, it lacks complexity, which means it’s easy to drink but doesn’t inspire much wonder.

That's correct, but the alcohol overpowers the rather subtle tannins.

For the price, it's really quite good. It has a nice, long finish and a very expressive nose. Everyone at the table enjoyed it.
