"A straight, toasty nose with rich, complex aromas of lemon and lime. The palate is fresh and straightforward with even more lemon, lime and toasty flavors leading to a well-made, lively finish." (Decanter World Wine Awards 2016). In a blind tasting, it will surprise more than one sparkling wine lover...

Better yet, a good Italian Prosecco... for me, grape varieties are not for dummies! Or rather, the winemaker?

Cava remains a fairly neutral sparkling wine. Aging does not seem to improve it.

Very lemony citrus nose. Very dry on the palate. It dehydrates rather than quenches your thirst!
