Bodega y Viñedos Ponce produced its very first vintage in 2005. Founded by oenologist Juan Antonio Ponce, the quality of the terroir and the precision of his work have propelled the small Manchuela appellation to the forefront of world viticulture.

The family estate cultivates some 30 hectares of old vines (50 years on average), making the most of terroir and biodiversity by practicing biodynamic viticulture. Bodega Ponce is also committed to promoting little-known grape varieties from the Manchuela region, such as Bobal, Albilla and Moravia Agria, harvested and vinified in the traditional way.

Today, the Ponce estate is recognized and appreciated by the world's greatest critics, who continue to award them sublime ratings and glowing comments: at the peak of his art and sublimating the grape varieties he works with, Ponce is also qualified by Parker and Suckling as one of the best value for money in the world.
