Agricola Falset Marca

Bodega Agrícola Falset Marca was founded in 1999 through the merger of the cooperatives from the villages of Falset and Marca, in the southern part of the province of Tarragona, Catalonia. It brings together the best wine producers in this Spanish province, cultivating some 380 plots that are among the most renowned in the Priorat region, the birthplace of the Montsant Designation of Origin.

The vineyards of Bodega Agricola Falset Marca benefit from a Mediterranean climate with continental influences, featuring hot, dry summers and rather cold winters. The vines are generally cultivated on small terraces with a subsoil dominated by slate combined with stony aggregates. This is a very distinctive terroir that requires meticulous work from the winemakers to bring out its best expression.
