"The 2017 entry-level Garnacha is an amazing value, as it comes from old, dry-farmed vineyards pruned using the head-pruning method in the village of Fitero. [...] It is a juicy, delicious Garnacha that is truly flavorful. The winery is really coming into its own, and each vintage seems to be better than the last. A great Garnacha at a good price.” (Wine Advocate 2018 - Robert Parker)

About the wine:
The 2017 entry-level Garnacha is an amazing value, as it comes from old, dry-farmed vineyards pruned using the head-pruning method in the village of Fitero. It was fermented whole-cluster in stainless steel with native yeasts and bottled without oak to preserve its freshness and acidity. This wine is lively and fresh due to the early harvest and the use of stems, as conditions that year were hot and very dry. It is a juicy, delicious Garnacha that is truly flavorful. The winery is really coming into its own, and each vintage seems to be better than the last. A great Garnacha at a great price.

A finish that tastes like raspberry candy isn't what I expect from a wine...
