"The classic 2020 Crianza is a regional Garnacha from the historic region of Corella, Cintruénigo, Fitero, and Lerga. It was produced using the traditional method of fermentation in stainless steel tanks with minimal extraction, followed by aging in used 300-liter barrels for 13 months. The wine is fresh and fruity, with notes of licorice, varietal character, herbs, and bay leaves. It exhibits moderate ripeness and alcohol content (13.15%) and retains good freshness and balance.” (Wine Advocate)

Light to medium-deep cherry-red color. On the nose, ripe red and dark fruit, some tobacco, forest floor, underbrush, and a hint of spice. On the palate, ripe and juicy red fruit, raspberry, red berries, and strawberry. Followed by herbal and spicy notes. Good structure, excellent body, fine acidity, and a hint of bitterness on the finish. Quite a persistent finish, crisp at the end and slightly coating. A simple yet powerful and characterful wine. Excellent value for money. Score: 15.5/20
