Robert Parker

The Antiguos Viñedos (old vineyards) show superb freshness for a warmer, riper vintage like 2012, resulting in a livelier wine than expected. The cooler area of Quintana de Pidio and the old vines bring a very nice balance to the conditions of the vintage, and the naturally balanced juiciness benefits greatly from aging in wood. There is balance, concentration, and intensity, fine tannins, and sufficient freshness. A classic Ribera." (Wine Advocate 2015 - Robert Parker)
