TheCVNE Group, a symbol of Spain’s prestigious wines, now comprises seven vineyards located in Spain’s most beautiful wine-growing regions, notably theRioja Altaand theRioja Alavesa. TheReal de Asualwine made its debut with the 1994 vintage and, year after year, stands as atrue tribute tothe passion and hard work of the founding brothers. Its grapes come from CVNE’s “Carromaza” vineyard, located in theRioja Altaregion within the Spanish municipality of Villalba. Covering 2.37 hectares, the 100% Tempranillo vines are cultivated at an altitude of 600 meters. Sheltered from the cold and wind by the mountainous slopes of theSierra de Cantabria, the grapes benefit from aunique climatethat is ideal for their development.

The harvest is carried out entirely by hand by the winery, which sorts the grapes twice before placing them in vats.Real de Asuais aged for 12 months in 100% new French oak barrels.
