Bodegas CVNE

The CVNE group, emblematic of Spain's prestigious wines, now boasts 7 vineyards in Spain's finest wine-growing regions, including Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa. With 140 years' experience behind it, CVNE is constantly evolving, blending tradition and innovation to produce wines of excellence.

With its 1994 vintage, the Real de Asual wine makes its appearance, each year paying homage to the passion and work of the founding brothers. Its grapes come from the CVNE "Carromaza" vineyard, located in the Rioja Alta region in the Spanish municipality of Villalba. Representing 2.37 hectares, the 100% Tempranillo vines are grown at an altitude of 600 meters. Sheltered from the cold and wind by the mountain slopes of the Sierra de Cantabria, the grapes benefit from a unique climate conducive to their development.

The harvest is carried out entirely by hand in the vineyard, with the berries sorted twice before being placed in vats. Real de Asua is aged for 12 months in 100% new French oak barrels.
