Bodegas Dios Ares

Bodegas Dios Ares was founded in 2001 by Carlos San Pedro—who is also the owner and technical director of Bodegas Pujanza—in partnership with other prominent figures in the wine industry, and produced its first vintage in 2004.

The vineyards of Bodegas Dios Ares, covering some 100 hectares, are located in Laguardia (Rioja Alavesa) and produce an excellent selection of grapes. The terroir consists of clay-limestone soils, at an average altitude of 400 to 650 meters. Throughout the growing process, the Bodegas Dios Ares vineyards are carefully monitored, from pruning through to the final weeks before harvest, to ensure the grapes reach perfect ripeness.
