The 2018 Crianza Ares is quite different from the new project, Voelos, which is more traditional. It is still Tempranillo from Sonsierra, aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, but in a completely different style—here, the fruit plays the leading role. It is a very easy-to-drink style of Crianza, with the oak in the background (or even further back...) with clean fruit and a vibrant palate with great freshness. It is perfect by the glass and as an accompaniment. " (Wine Advocate 2020)
