Bodegas Lar de Paula

Bodegas Lar de Paula is a family-owned winery run by Fernando Meruelo, who also manages Bodegas Heredad de Baroja. Located in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, in the village of Elvillar de Alava, Bodegas Lar de Paula is sheltered to the north by the Sierra Cantabria and flourishes in the fertile Ebro Valley to the south, where the region’s climate ensures a supply of high-quality grapes from the best local winegrowers.

Bodegas Lar de Paula was founded with a single goal: to produce a great wine from the finest grapes through a process in which excellence is the primary focus. Temperature controls, stainless-steel tanks with a capacity ranging from 12,000 to 30,000 kilos, and meticulous, attentive monitoring at every stage of winemaking ensure the wines achieve optimal quality.
