About the wine:
The 2020 Reserva Selección de la Familia Luis Cañas is a blend of 85% Tempranillo and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from Villabuena de Álava. It was aged for 18 months in French (70%) and American (30%) oak barrels, 20% of which were second-fill barrels. With a rich garnet hue, it offers aromas of ash, blackberry, blackcurrant, camphor, wild herbs, and olive. Well-structured, with firm tannins and medium body, the Cabernet Sauvignon enhances its depth. 2025–2040

About the wine:
Made from Tempranillo and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2020 Rioja Reserva Selección de la Familia is supple, textured, and complex, with an unmistakable herbal note and a pronounced Cabernet character. Fermentation took place in equal parts new French and American oak barrels, after which the wine was aged for 20 months in second-use barrels. Cedar, blackcurrant, sage, and even a hint of eucalyptus complement a full-bodied core with powerful tannins and a solid structure that should continue to develop over the next 12 to 15 years. 2025–2040
