Hacienda Terra d'Uro

Hacienda Terra d'Uro was founded by Oscar Garrote, Cristiano Van Zeller, and Javier "Pipa" Ortega. Together, they operate three vineyards: Finca de Rana, Finca El Romeral, and Finca La Coscojosa. These vineyards are located on a unique terroir in Bardales, at an altitude of 750 meters, with pre-phylloxera vines that are over 140 years old.

Most of the work carried out at Hacienda Terra d'Uro is done manually, using the most natural methods possible. Terra d'Uro wines are fermented in 225-liter Bordeaux barrels. Aging lasts between 12 and 24 months in new barrels. There is no filtration or clarification, in order to fully respect the natural qualities of the wines, which are powerful yet velvety.
