“The 2011 Finca La Rana seems to have a lighter style, with a brilliant ruby color and a nose blending red and black fruits with a spicy, floral note and hints of Mediterranean herbs, dried meat, and licorice—much like some elegant wines from the Northern Rhône. The 2011 Finca La Rana seems to have a lighter style, with a bright ruby color and a nose blending red and black fruits with a spicy floral note and hints of Mediterranean herbs, dried meat, and licorice—much like some elegant wines from the Northern Rhône. Very pleasant on the palate and quite fruity, with a hint of cherry. It lacks a bit of finish, but I highly recommend it.
