About the estate:
Christophe Fargier trained in the United States in the early 1990s and opened Ninkasi in Lyon’s Gerland neighborhood in 1997. His concept was unique in France: combining a brewery with a bar-restaurant that also hosted concerts. As the brewery became too small, everyone moved to Tarare, settling in a former dye works with an Eiffel-style steel frame. In 2016, Lyon had seven Ninkasi bar-restaurants, which carry on the city’s rich brewing tradition. All beers are top-fermented, contain no artificial colors or flavors, and are unpasteurized.
