This blend of indigenous grape varieties is a real gem. With the elegance of Roditis and the freshness of Moschofilero, Notios White offers a lovely aromatic balance with notes of white peach and apricot. Dry and refreshing, it pairs perfectly with appetizers or mixed salads.

Winery featured in *Les Meilleurs Vins de Grèce* (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the wineries listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)

About the estate:

(The Best Wines of Greece) Lean Karatsalos and Yannis Paraskevopoulos run this winery, founded in 1994 and considered one of the most promising in Greece. Production here spans two wine-growing regions. One is in the Cyclades, on the island of Santorini, in the Episkopi area, where they produce a white wine made from Assyrtiko. This volcanic island allows this local grape variety, which is very fruity in its youth, to develop minerality with age. The other is in the Peloponnese, in Koutsi, a small village where the winery established its cellar in 1997. In this region, at the heart of the Nemea appellation, it produces both white and red table wines, always made from indigenous grape varieties such as Rhoditis and Moshofilero, with their pink berries, and Aghiorghitiko or Saint Georges, with its small black clusters.
