“Marcenasco is the name of a brand owned by Domaine Renato Ratti, but it also refers to the vineyard in the town of La Morra. This 2014 Barolo Marcenasco offers rich, deep aromas of crushed black fruit mixed with roses, smoke, and asphalt. The fruit appears very ripe, and the wine already reveals the depth and sophistication of an aged Nebbiolo. On the palate, Marcenasco is slightly more refined than the average for this vintage and has notes reminiscent of bitter cherry.” (Wine Advocate 2017 – Robert Parker). A truly great Barolo!
