"A confidential vintage for an exceptional Barolo, a bottle to forget in your cellar!"

"Very complex and seductive aromas of violet, undergrowth, and wild berries. The palate is firm but balanced, with precise tannins and a linear, flavorful, and firm fruit core on the finish. Very well constructed. Needs a few years to fully blossom. Best enjoyed from 2027 onwards. (James Suckling 2025)

About wine:

La Morra. Medium ruby color with orange highlights. At first, the raspberry notes are somewhat masked by the oak. It is not clear whether oak was used to increase complexity. However, this seems to be the case. Juicy, flavorful red fruits enveloped in complex woody spice and accompanied by attractive gravelly tannins. The oak aging is skillfully done, but it will take time for it to harmonize with the fruit. An unusually modernist style for this classic estate. 2027-2038
