Designer of innovative projects with low environmental impact, where aesthetics meet functionality; Agnese Mazzei built a cellar in order to produce wines that are as natural as possible. This cellar is located 15 meters underground so that gravity alone can be used and the temperature and humidity are ideal for aging wines.
The terroir of the Fonterutoli estate consists of Alberese rock and sandstone. The estate covers 650 hectares, 117 of which are vineyards. The Fonterutoli vineyard is divided into 120 plots at an altitude of between 220 and 550 meters.
