A 17th-century estate, Tenuta di Sticciano carries on a winemaking tradition dating back at least 200 years. It is in this very cellar that Sangiovese, Tuscany’s flagship grape variety, is aged, along with the estate’s other wines.
Alessio Miliotti and his family tend the vineyards and terroirs with great care: the majority of Tenuta di Sticciano’s vineyards are cultivated using organic viticulture, going even beyond the requirements of certification. In the cellar, Tenuta di Sticciano employs modern winemaking systems to minimize the use of sulfites
Tenuta di Sticciano primarily produces Chianti and Tuscan IGT wines, as well as olive oil, grappa, and honey.
