Tenuta di Sticciano
A 17th-century farmhouse, Tenuta di Sticciano continues a winemaking tradition that goes back at least 200 years. It's in this same cellar that Sangiovese, Tuscany's king grape variety, is aged, along with the estate's other wines.
Alessio Miliotti and his family work the vines and terroirs with great care: the majority of Tenuta di Sticciano 's vineyards are farmed organically, going even beyond the requirements of certification. In the cellar, Tenuta di Sticciano uses modern winemaking systems to keep the use of sulfites to a minimum.
Tenuta di Sticciano produces mainly Chianti and Tuscan IGT wines, but also olive oils, Grappa and honey.
