Agricola Punica
In the mid-1980s, Sebastiano Rosa, oenologist for Tenuta San Guido (producer of Sassicaia), offered his services to Cantina di Santadi. It was at this point that theAgricola Punica project began to take shape.

It was not until 2002, under the impetus of Giaccomo Tachis, a renowned Tuscan oenologist, thatAgricola Punica became official with the purchase of its first vineyards. These 170 hectares (65 of which are planted with vines), divided into two estates: Barrua and Narcao, are located in the southern part of Sardinia called Southern Sulcis.
Agricola Punica wines are classified under the Isola dei Nuraghi IGT: Samas for whites, Montessu and Barrua for reds.

At the helm ofAgricola Punica are Sebastiano Rosa, Cantina Santadi, Tenuta San Guido (Sassicaia), Giaccomo Tachis, and Antonello Pilloni (president of Cantina Santadi).
