"Crafted by the same team behind the legendary Tuscan Sassicaia, this is a Sardinian blend of 85% Carignano, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Merlot. The 2013 Barrua is a beautifully balanced and straightforward wine with aromas of black fruit that flow effortlessly from the bouquet. These notes of blackberry, plum, and dried fig blend with spices, tar, licorice, and black olive. This vintage truly excels in terms of the intensity and precision of its bouquet. The tannins are well-integrated, and the wine is textured and long on the finish.” (Wine Advocate 2017 – Robert Parker)
