Cantine Ermes Società Cooperativa Agricola

Cantine Ermes Società Cooperativa Agricola was founded in Sicily, in the Belìce Valley, in July 1998, thanks to the initiative of nine winemakers from Santa Ninfa and Gibellina, two towns devastated by the 1968 earthquake. Their goal was to create an innovative, dynamic, and internationally oriented winery.

In just over 25 years, the Cantine Ermes cooperative has become a multi-regional entity, bringing together 2,708 members and managing 14,394 hectares of vineyards spread across six major wine-growing regions of Italy: Sicily, Puglia, Veneto, Abruzzo, Emilia-Romagna, and Lombardy.

Committed to promoting local territories and protecting the environment, Cantina Ermes has gradually expanded its operations, notably in Veneto (2008), Puglia (2018), Abruzzo (2022), Emilia-Romagna (2023), and Lombardy (2024).

With over 180 employees and a well-established sales network in Italy and abroad, the cooperative remains at the forefront of the industry. Cantina Ermes was also recognized for its expertise by winning the award for "Best Cooperative Winery in Southern Italy" in 2022.
