Mas Cal Demoura
Mas Cal Demoura is owned by Isabelle and Vincent Goumard, who cultivate vineyards located in the heart of the Coteaux du Languedoc. Over the years, the Mas Cal Demoura estate has become one of the most faithful ambassadors of its appellation. It is situated in the foothills of the Larzac, the northernmost terroir of the Languedoc.

The deep, cool terroir of Mas Cal Demoura, combined with the variety of grape varieties, allows for the production of elegant and complex wines… Here too, vineyard management follows a set of principles aimed at respecting the environment and achieving optimal grape quality. To enhance the expression of the terroir (freshness, complexity, structure), the Mas Cal Demoura team uses only the finest grapes. The wines are now certified organic and biodynamic (Ecocert and Biodyvin).

Each plot is harvested individually based on the grapes’ ripeness. The grapes are sorted a first time in the vineyard during the hand-harvest. A second sorting takes place upon the grapes’ arrival at the winery, after destemming on a sorting table. Each grape variety contributes a component that enhances the balance and complexity of Mas Cal Demoura’s red and rosé blends: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Carignan, and Cinsault. For the whites, Chenin, White Grenache, and Roussanne ferment in barrels, while Viognier and Muscat are vinified in tanks.
