Jean-Philippe Granier provides technical advice to all winemakers in the Languedoc appellations. The family-owned estate, located in the Sommières area, offers wines that are perfectly clean and impeccably crafted, ranging from IGP to Languedoc: it is by the quality of its entry-level wines that a good estate is recognized. Among the reds, “Clémence” is intense in flavor, “Jéricho” has a bold character and displays perfectly controlled tannins, and “Camp-de-l’Oste” is a model for the region. There is a clear commitment here to the taste and flavors that every wine from the region should express. This is a very reliable choice, especially since, in addition to the reds, the whites are just as consistent and the “Parenthèse” rosé is consistently exceptional.

The deep color reflects the fine maturity of this blend of Syrah (the primary variety), Grenache, and Mourvèdre. Subtle at first, the nose opens up when swirled, revealing notes of stewed fruit, spices, garrigue, and licorice. A full-bodied and straightforward attack leads to a powerful and generous palate featuring fruit-forward notes with a hint of alcohol and roasted flavors, complemented by beautiful, already silky tannins and a subtle, delicate freshness running through the wine.
