IGP Haute Vallée de l'Aude

The Haute Vallée de l’Aude PGI production area covers 57 municipalities south of Carcassonne, in a region characterized by altitude, complex geology, and a climate combining oceanic and Mediterranean influences. This natural richness, stretching from the gates of Carcassonne to the Aude gorges, forges a strong wine-growing identity. Thanks to the diversity of the grape varieties grown, the wines offer a wide range of styles, with balanced, expressive vintages renowned for their finesse and typical characteristics.
