IGP Haute Vallée de l'Aude

The production area of the Haute Vallée de l’Aude PGI spans 57 municipalities south of Carcassonne, in a terroir characterized by elevation, complex geology, and a climate blending oceanic and Mediterranean influences. This natural richness, stretching from the outskirts of Carcassonne to the Gorges de l’Aude, forges a strong winemaking identity. Thanks to the diversity of grape varieties grown, the wines offer a wide range of styles, with balanced, expressive vintages renowned for their finesse and distinct character.
