Domaine d'Eriane
More than 300 years of family history connect Domaine d'Eriane to agriculture and wine in the Gard region. Five generations of winemakers have succeeded one another in the village of Saint-Mamert-du-Gard.
Set amidst 43 hectares of land, 13 of which are planted with vines, the Domaine d'Eriane’s terroir consists primarily of clay-limestone soils. Red grape varieties are grown on iron-rich red soils, while white grape varieties are cultivated on marl.
Domaine d'Eriane obtained organic certification in 2013 and incorporates certain biodynamic practices into its cultivation methods. Subsequently, the estate turned to agroforestry with the aim of reducing the need for treatments and introducing diversity to its crops. This approach allows for the maximum use of beneficial organisms in the vineyard to prevent and treat issues naturally.
