Domaine d'Eriane
More than 300 years of family history link Domaine d'Eriane to agriculture and wine in the Gard region. Five generations of winegrowers in the village of Saint-Mamert du Gard have succeeded one another.
At the heart of 43 hectares of land, 13 of which are planted with vines, the Domaine d'Eriane terroir is mainly composed of clay-limestone soils. Black grape varieties are grown on red soils containing high levels of iron, and white grape varieties on marl.
Domaine d'Eriane obtained organic certification in 2013 and combines some cultivation practices with biodynamics. It then turned to agroforestry, with the aim of reducing treatments and bringing diversity to the crops. This allows maximum use of vine auxiliaries for natural prevention and treatment.
