Domaine Canet Valette

Domaine Canet Valette is owned by Marc Valette, who first took over the family vineyards before creating his own estate in 1992. He is a man of integrity and conviction who works in the great Languedoc tradition.

The Domaine Canet Valette vineyard covers 20 hectares of vines, mainly located on clay-limestone soil with southern exposure. Marc Valette made the decision early on to adopt sustainable farming practices, which were rewarded with organic certification in 1999. The grapes are harvested by hand and the utmost care is taken in the vinification and aging processes.

Thanks to long aging periods, Domaine Canet Valette wines acquire a true finesse of tannins, marked nonetheless by an authentic and whole character, reflecting that of their producer.
