Domaine Canet Valette

Domaine Canet Valette is owned by Marc Valette, who first took over the family vineyards before creating his own estate in 1992. A man of conviction, who works in the great Languedoc tradition.

The Domaine Canet Valette vineyard comprises 20 hectares of vines, most of which are planted on south-facing clay-limestone terroir. Marc Valette was an early proponent of organic farming, culminating in organic certification in 1999. The grapes are harvested by hand, and the utmost care is taken in vinification and ageing.

Thanks to long ageing, Domaine Canet Valette wines acquire a real finesse of tannins, marked nonetheless by an authentic, whole character, in the image of their producer.
