About the wine:

A wine that truly lives up to its name—absolutely delicious. With its deep ruby color, charming nose of ripe black fruits and morello cherries, and a rich, playful palate that’s supple and full-bodied, this red is the quintessential “wine for friends.”

About the estate:

This estate is located 500 meters from the Château de Martigné-Briand, in the heart of the Coteaux-du-Layon region, and the town is also known as the "little capital" of Anjou rosé wines. Since 1988, Yves Matignon and his sister Hélène have been cultivating 38 hectares of vineyards there.
