"This delicious Bourgueil will delight your taste buds—and your wallet!"

“Favorite —for his first vintage, 2018, the year the estate was founded—Alexis Boucard continues to stand out. His aptly named Cuvée No. 1, crafted from venerable Cabernet Franc vines rooted in clay and silica soils, boasts a deep red color with violet highlights, worthy of haute couture. Upon aeration, lively aromas of red and black fruits delight the nose. On the palate, this radiant Bourgueil is full-bodied, rich, and smooth, infused with flavors of strawberry and cherry. A well-rounded, generous wine that is already highly enjoyable and will continue to be so for several more years.” (Le Guide Hachette 2025).

This wine has the terroir-driven flavor typical of Cabernet Franc, followed by a silky finish. A great success.
