“A sparkling Bourgeuil!”

“A panel charmed by this shimmering red—and above all, a wine that’s truly in its element—crafted by a talented winemaker whose entire range comes highly recommended. The sun-kissed aromas of morello cherry and blackcurrant, delightfully rich from the very first whiff, linger sensually on a palate that’s generous, smooth, and fresh all at once, with plenty of structure—far from lacking it. The balance is perfect and the pleasure is guaranteed. We’re coming back for more.” (Le Guide Hachette 2026).

About the wine:

The panel was charmed by this shimmering red—and above all, its full-bodied character—crafted by a talented winemaker whose entire range comes highly recommended. The sun-kissed aromas of morello cherry and blackcurrant, delightfully rich from the very first sniff, linger sensually on a palate that is generous, smooth, and fresh all at once, with no lack of structure—far from it. The balance is perfect, and the pleasure is guaranteed. We’re left wanting more.

About the estate:

An estate that has been in the Vallée family for several generations, run by Gérald since 1998, who converted the 27-hectare vineyard in the Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil appellation to organic farming, certified since the 2012 vintage.
