"While the estate is best known for its Bourgueils, it has produced this Chinon—and what a Chinon it is! The ruby color is intense, though not as much as the nose, which releases a deep bouquet blending very ripe fruit with sweet spices. The fruit, with blackcurrant at the forefront, unfolds on a lively, full-bodied palate, supported by silky, well-integrated tannins. Robust and generous, the jury loved it. Drink now or cell it for a few years. At this price, it’s a real bargain.” (Le Guide Hachette 2026).
