“A wonderful sweet wine for enjoyment and sharing—a superb success!”

Favorite to the Socheleaus' extensive list of wines—they are true masters of Angers' sweet wines. This sweet wine immediately captivates with its irresistibly indulgent aromas of stewed and overripe fruit, particularly figs, dates, and apricots. On the palate, it reveals a rich, full-bodied, complex wine that is never heavy, supported by a lovely minty freshness and remarkable length. A great wine to enjoy and share, both today and for decades to come.” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2025).

About the wine:

Favorite to the Socheleaus’ already extensive list of Anjou sweet wines. A great wine to enjoy and share, both now and for the decade to come.

About the estate:

René Socheleau and his son Philippe took over and restructured this 44-hectare estate in 2001, and built a new winery located on the Angers coastal road, overlooking the Loire and Layon valleys. Their wines are regularly featured in the Guide.
