“A vintage of remarkable consistency, multi-starred, which has earned yet another ‘ Favorite ’ rating following the 2020. Superb in complexity and power, the nose reveals ripe yellow fruit and honey against a subtly vanilla-scented backdrop. A gentle sweetness envelops a sensual and very long palate, supported by all the freshness of the Romorantin. Long, beautifully aged, and with a very assured balance, it can be enjoyed now (paired with delicate fish) or allowed to age a bit further in the cellar.” (Le Guide Hachette 2027).

About the wine:

A vintage of remarkable consistency, awarded multiple stars, which has earned yet another “ Favorite ” rating following the 2020 vintage. Superb in complexity and power, the nose reveals ripe yellow fruit and honey against a subtly vanilla-scented backdrop. A gentle sweetness envelops a sensual and very lingering palate, supported by the full freshness of the Romorantin grape. Long, beautifully aged, and with a very assured balance, it can be enjoyed now (paired with delicate fish) or allowed to age a bit further in the cellar.

About the estate:

François Cazin runs (using “highly sustainable” farming practices) a 24-hectare family estate located on the edge of the Cheverny Forest, at the gateway to the Sologne region. Passed down from father to son for four generations, it is regularly featured in these pages.
