Antoine De La Farge
Antoine De La Farge was deeply inspired by his grandfather, Gérard Clément, an iconic winemaker and co-founder of the Menetou-Salon appellation. After beginning his career at a wine shop and then working as a buyer for a major wine merchant, he expanded his expertise internationally, particularly in Australia. In 2012, with 12 years of experience under his belt, he returned to the family estate to apply this expertise alongside his grandfather, who remains actively involved.
Thanks to the diversity of the terroirs, Antoine de la Farge produces expressive and balanced wines. In Pouilly-sur-Loire, his vines take root in soil rich in flint and pebbles. In Quincy, he harvests on sandy and clay soils. Menetou-Salon reveals its full finesse on Kimmeridgian soil, while Sancerre rests primarily on limestone pebbles.
Antoine De La Farge showcases Sauvignon Blanc, which develops finesse and citrus aromas thanks to slow ripening, and Pinot Noir, delicate and elegant, grown on clay-limestone soils.
